Did a quick 20mm job on mine by getting longer bolts for rear and making up some spaces (note surface isn't flat) and then tiliting front of seat up with adjuster.

Need high tensile bolts and you can't go up much this way cause front seat angle won't be comfortable.

A cushion or piece of quality foam won't do the job?

I prefer more rake to my driving seat than a lot of vehicles have, unless you get one with adjustable rake. For me, having more rake gives more support under the thighs and a hell of a lot more comfort on a long trip.

Some years ago I fixed this on a Vitara, and then have done so again with my current Prado, by putting in longer bolts at the front of the seat and then packing the seat up about 25mm with washers. Works a treat.

As Robin says, you would have to use high tensile bolts.

Cheers
