Greg,

Even though I have a 105 series, a friend has the same as you and he was able to pick up a GXL seat quite cheaply at a wrecker. It bolted straight in to existing captive nuts in the floor.

Shouldn't be a drama at all.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Greg,

I'll second Mark's reply.I've done the same thing and it is very straight-forward. Nothing special needs to be done if you drop an 80 series GXL seat in.

Greg,
I have also done this to my DX, a seat from a GXL will bolt straight in, the bolt hole in the floor which from memory is for the middle seat belt will need to be filled, just put the bolt in it. You will also need to get a Mod plate for the installation.

Cheers Drew
