Landcruiser 100 series IFS suspensiion lift

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and am just chasing some advice on suspension lifts to suit my 2003 100 series UZJ100.

I want to lift the vehicle, minimum of 50mm and have been looking at the kit which includes the replacement crossmember(drop diff). All up with shocks, coils, torsion bars etc I think I am looking at the $3000.00 mark. I'm looking at OME shocks, bars and springs.

Can I use coil spacers on that model of vehicle to gain a bit of body lift or not ? That will give me a bit more time to get the quids to together for the complete upgrade.

Advice is appreciated and would like to hear from anyone that has installed the complete drop diff kit themselves.

Hi Kruiserkev,i have an 03 hdj100r and have installed desert fox torsion bars wound up as far as i can get them to go(bout 65mm)used koni adjustable shocks front and rear,also the ATS front diff drop kit and OME 865 3 to 4"rear coils and it turned into a different 4WD,the front probably would go higher but i have a lot of weight over the front end,rides and handles fantastic-youve gotta do it.cheers Paul

I have OME torsion bars in the front, Lovells HD raised in the back and they are good. Dont go to high on the front, shockers play a part in how far you can go, by popular opinion you need some droop, 60-70mm is the general consensus. I have replaced worn out OME shocks with ridepros, bit soft I reckon, but I will stick it out. Havent done the diff drop yet, no problems but it is early days. $3000 is a bit rich, rear springs should cost you $180 for a pair, shocks about $140 each and torsion bars I am not too sure about. Heard the drop kit was between 200-400 but cant confirm
