It depends what time of year you're over here in the west, and how long you've got.

During the summer months, the south west corner is ideal (as it's the wet season up north). Depending on what work you want to do, the wineries and restraunts are always after casual staff. (Was down that way a few weeks ago, and one of the wineries didn't have their restraunt open, due to being unable to get enough staff to run it).

During the winter, up north (pilbara or kimberly is great). Can often get work in mining towns. All depends on your skills, what you're prepared to do, etc.

You've got to be trying pretty hard NOT to work over here at the moment.

Thanks for the websites everyone I will check'em out. I'm coming over for seeding to begin with so probably be there march/april next year. Then I got all the time in the world...am going to travel around Aust. Not really fussy on the kind of work, so long as I make enough to live off of, I'll be happy. Sounds like there is plenty of work around if your willing?!

For starters especially if you are east of esperance around condingyp all the beaches south heading east of there are some of the best in OZ.
Youd be best to stay away from places like Kalgoorlie if you are intending to travel.
Many a person you meet there was just passing through at the time on there way around OZ but that was as far as they got.
It would make it very hard to go back to Farming pay or fruit picking, Pub work etc after that

I know fr sure there is a farm ...a huge farm near Dalwallinu that will be looking for a new Permanent worker, driving a Versatile towing a seed/fertilizer bin and Air seeder at Sowing time, and all other aspects of farm work, the worker they have now is leaving ,
