It depends what time of year you're over here in the west, and how long you've got.
During the summer months, the
south west corner is ideal (as it's the wet season up north). Depending on what work you want to do, the wineries and restraunts are always after casual staff. (Was down that way a few weeks ago, and one of the wineries didn't have their restraunt open, due to being unable to get enough staff to run it).
During the winter, up north (
pilbara or kimberly is great). Can often get work in mining towns. All depends on your skills, what you're prepared to do, etc.
You've got to be trying pretty hard NOT to work over here at the moment.
