fishing weipa

hi out there i am looking at booking 4 or 5 days mainly barra fishing at weipa for self and one or two mates in may next year and thinking of using these people weipafishingadventures.com.au
interested in any comments good bad or indifferent or even possible alternative recommendations - and yea i know its tough for some but someone has to do it

Dave Donald - Weipa Fishing is very highly regarded in the tackle industry ( where I am from ) as a good operator .

yea thanks willie i know of dave donald and in fact when he worked for mossops tackle in brisbane years ago i used to buy gear off him now and then - will contact him but i believe he is usuall heavilly booked well in advance

I have fished with weipafishingadventures 3 Times and would go with them again.Have always fished with Dave the owner of the business.great bloke good boats good gear
you would not be sorry if you choose this option

Fished Weipa for a week in the late 90's with a guide named Russell Rowse. Fantastic fishing (surprise surprise).

Had fished with a few guides in NT and this guy really knew his stuff, lots of barra but heaps of other fun fish as well.

I think Russell is teamed up with a guy from Cairns "Fish" Philliskirk.

You lucky buggers will have a ball!
