Thought I would post the free camping spots we found while
in Goondiwindi. You drive down Kildonan Rd and the one we liked the best was Lees Reserve, there are about four of them and all are on the river. Also in Goondiwidi you can have free hot showers at The Water Park.

Thanks Barb.
We met a local and he told us of these camping spots. They are very easy to find and about 25 to 30ks from Gundy. Kildonan Rd is the backway between Yelarbon and Gundy and is good to travel on, much better than the main highway. The RSL do a nice lunch
on the weekends and a good price.

Yes, that's the river. Good camping spots all along there.
