I use sheepskin on my. I got them from autObarn They are waterproof, as tested by my son who emptied a full can of coke onto one of the front seats - no fluid made it through to the seat. He is recovering nicely...

These seat covers have cut-outs to allow for the inflation of the airbags, if necessary. They have not been compliance tested, and I accept the risk of this.

Opening the packet I found that they simply didn't sew the seam in the area where the airbag would pop out !.

So if you want to convert ordinary seatcovers to airbag-compatible, just unpick the stitching !
