Does anybody know anything about or has bought an Ironman Winch? and do you know if there are parts available for them or if parts are interchangeable from another type of winch? Thanks if you can help.

This has been discussed quite recently. If you do a search I am sure you will find the information that you are looking for.

gda george I have owned an Ironman whinch for about 10 months now and used it to rescue a patrol from sand. And rescude my self up steep tracks I own a r51 Pathfinder pretty heavy. Winch worked ok so far. But notice the other day after playing in Big puddles at wombat forest whinch got wet. And couple of days later was drieng it out by using it to pull Pathfinder up Hill at home. Whinch stopped a couple of times??? seems ok now used it yesterday after a week.. They are cheep but Ironman do have great service and backup..
Dont think i would like to be hanging off it on a really dangerous cliff face. Would want a Warn then but warn too much money, Ironman ok for occasional use i think... Hope this helps..
