Prado bars

Howdy. Is the ARB steel bar too heavy for an unmodded manual KZJ120R Prado (2004 diesel)? It seems the best of the lot, but I'm concerned about the up-front weight in the bush. I also tow a 16' van on dirt roads.

I've searched the site, but cant get this question answered.

Thanks for your thought, regards,

Darbi

A friend of mine has one fitted to a 2007 model with no problems whatsoever.

Hi Darbi,

I fitted an ARB bar and winch to my 2007 D4D Prado. It dropped the front by 20mm and had to fit heavier springs to return it to correct height. I think you might get away with just the bar only.

Cheers

Andrew
