Hello - may help if you state what program you are using, OziExplorer (PC or CE), Garmin's Mapsource, Magellan's Mapsend, Trackranger...??

GerryP replied:

Hi George,
When you have plotted all your waypoint, open the route editor and construct your route using the listed waypoints. After that, save save both the waypoints and the route files separately. Next time you want to use them, you then need to load the waypoints and route separately as well. Once loaded, you should find the route in the route editor.

Yes - the Ozi help file (always a good reference) states

This is still causing me problems on how to code this properly.

At the moment you should make sure you load the waypoint file which you were using when you created the route. It is not possible to display a route unless the waypoints are loaded as well.

It is possible for the waypoint stored in the route not to agree with the waypoints loaded on the map if the waypoints have been modified since the route was created. This is corrected by pressing the ReLink button on the Route editor"
