G'day Los,
I have a Trakkie as
well. You will be pleased with the result.
There are one or two other Forumites with Trakkies, a couple with Bushtrackers and a couple with Pheonixesss.
There are even a few F250s here as
well.
Welcome aboard.

Also... I'm sure your van's delivery date might need an update (maybe 2009?)
I like your signature, reminds me of Guy Fawkes, the only man who ever entered Parliament with honourable intentions.
cheers

I've been researching Trakmasters for awhile - the model you mention is not listed on their site - have I missed something ? - (easily done in my case).

G'day Darian The Tamini is their latest model. The van was written up in the December issue of one of the caravan mags Trakmaster gave it a good workout and it came up very
well ,the can has plastic outside cladding that will make it easier to clean, they have also fitted double glazed windows The only draw back is the long delivery date have a good one

Los
I had a serious look at Trackmaster before I got my Phoenix and I talked to several proud owners of Trakkies, you will not be disappointed, the general consensus is that you will have to specify ALL inclusions, do not assume that something will logically be included.

Since the Trakmasters are named after deserts, I suspect you'll have more success searching for "Tanami".

Hi LOS BUSH
Nice looking set up with the F250 - i won't let my Rooster look at that. Ours has fibreglass canopy, and for travelling without the caravan, it meant crawling in through the tailgate, with outdoor living. As this set up is really only for the odd night or two away from the caravan, I'm happy with what we've got.
Happy New Year and may you have a good year during your long wait.
Motherhen (who didn't wait and bought the BT pre-loved)

G'day Los Bush
Boy..... I was a bit worried when I saw your date for delivery as my Tanami is due for delivery in early Feb 08 and there is only one on the assembly line.
We placed an order for a new van in April 2007 for delivery in Feb 2008 (our preferred delivery date) to replace our current Nullarbor that was one of the few with fibre glass. We were extremely happy with the Nullarbor and it would have lasted us for years but due to health problems and just to make life easier we required a little more length and additional external compartments etc.
When we ordered the van planning was based on the old Nullarbor and did not even know that the name would be changed.
We are very pleased with what we have seen so far and looking forward to getting on the road again.
Missed out on the article in CW. Do you have a copy of the article??

Los
The remark was mine as I was under the impression that mine was the only one (first) in the assembly line. When I was at the factory I did not see any more... My remark was based on your initial delivery date. I would have hated to see them make a mistake. Our delivery dates are the same only 12 months apart/
Am looking forward to the delivery. If you want any info about the Tanami etc after delivery.... just ask.\
