A thermistor is just a resistor that has its value altered with the temperature. It is a 2 wire device.
So, just trace a pair of wires from the control module to the evaporator area - most likely just inside the
fridge compartment where the refrigerant lines enter (closest to the control module). Just went through this process with my Engel - it really couldn't be anything else but the thermistor.

Thanks Tony, your spot on with the fact its a thermistor fault , however I wish it was that simple, I can see the thermistor wiring disappearing into a small hole in the cabinet above the compressor, you cannot even drop the compressor down to better assess the situation,I was hoping for an easier method of perhaps re-routing the thermistor to a location that's easier to install and access.
