BTW-have sailed over to Pt Vincent from Adelaide many many times - tied up as close to the shore as safe and had fish and chips at the seafront caff one night and dinner at the Hotel at least once. Love Pt Vincent-it's a little bit of the original Australia. You're a lucky block whether working at Pt Vincent or Verruca - IMO

Very few Chefs get anywhere near big enough bucks.

Most are burnt out by age 30 and move to a different field.

It's an amazingly high pressure job that requires immense skill and organisation.

People who visit us on Christmas Day marvel at how I can put up lunch for 25-30 people so easily. After cheffing, doing a roast lunch for such a small gathering is a walk in the park.

And I've got to add, I was no "gun" chef.

Happy new year mate.

Heh great news, you will be a new man working 6 days a week at Warooka instead of PV ??? Hahahaha

Was at warooka a few weeks back, took the local fire truck for a stroll with a strike team to help with the fires that were down there.

BUT we were fed at the footy club by the salvos, MATE you have huge competition ??? hahahahaha

No complaints, good supply of basic food to fill up hungry fire fighters, all good.

Will have to bring the cook down to see if the GF fish and chips are as good !!!

Cheers Pesty
