Hi! 4 wheelers. Had no replies from my previous posting so I thought I would try again with a new topic heading.

I am seriously considering changing my GQ for the new 4.8P GU. I currently have an Nissan (ARB) steel bull bar on the GQ. Has been a good bar but in over 200,000 kms has not been tested in anger. The odd minor altercation but nothing to alter it's shape. I like the look of the TeamPoly Smartbar and they tell a plausible story about how good it is. Has anyone any experience with or information about the Smartbar's performance etc.? Thanks guys and gals for any help. John

Hi there...I fitted a smartbar to my NH SWB Pajero a few months ago. While it hasn't been tested by hitting anything, I have been really impressed. It weighed only slightly more than my existing bumper which meant I didn't need to adjust suspension etc at the front. Has good mounting points for antenna and lights too (although I had to adjust the brackets as my lights were quite large). When you do buy, have a good look around, as I got the fitting thrown in for free.

Sorry about the multiple questions but when I tried to send the questions yesterday I kept getting back a message saying that the email had not gone through.

John,I have fixed the performance problems and multiple entries issue. Sorry for the inconvience - Could you please in future just drop me a very quick feedback and I am sure we can fix any problems. The error you were getting was to do with our mail server being conjested - I am now and using a different machine and this should fix the problems. I have left two of your questions in the forum as you have answers in both.David
