air bags or more srpings

B Jammin

The back end of my Rodeo is alittle saggy due to the work body i have on it and heavy loads, a little extra ground clearance on weekends would be nice too. Im thinking airbags and geased shackles or a whole new set of leaves and shackles. i think the bags may be cheaper and easier to fit.

If you have a constant heavy load, I would be inclined to beef-up the springs for a permanent solution. Air bags are good if you only have a load at different times. Then you can inflate them or deflate for a more comfortable ride as required. Just my opinion.

Hi there B Jammin, I would also be watching the rear chassis rails if you continuously carry heavy loads as they are known for bending then cracking. Regards Steve M

I think you would be better off getting the springs RESET and one of the best in that business is RAM springs in Thomastown Melbourne .He is an owner operated business located at 15B charnfield crt ph(03) 9466 4193 .Tell him Graeme sent and he will look after you I promise.

Had the same problem with our rodeo, had tjm rear springs installed (the ones for carrying constant load) and it is all OK now.
Also had the greasable shackles installed at the same time.
