Feedback on Tyres

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing Yokohama's Geolandar II A/T-S. (9R15)
Just looking for some feedback from those that have used these tyres. Please, no sledging but be honest.
These tyres rated high in the 4WD Action tyre comparo, they also have great factory backup and replacement.
I currently use Bridgestone's D694 A/T Duellers, I have had a good run from these but looking for a change.
I have read alot of reviews but little from actual users.

Any comments

Hey campaholic, I too went thru the A/T tyre dilemma thing and settled on Yokie A/T-S Geolandars. Still too early to determine longativity @ 10K but very quiet on highway, predictable on loose gravel and excellent on sand with low pressure. Some mates have after seeing them preform gone down the same path.

Hope they get better mileage than the G039's. These are OEM on Pajeros and were only good for about 50K.

Probably better to get 50K out of a good tyre that performs well on the tar ( wet and dry ) and the dirt than 80K from a "good" tyre that may let you down when most needed (some AT and mud terrain's are terrible in the wet )

True, but for an HT that's done nearly all it's life on tar I'd be hoping for a bit more than that. Get far better than that from my COOPERS...:-))

My Uncle has an NM Paj, he racked up 105000 on the OEM Yokies, he puts it down to having them Nitrogen filled from new. He now has the new HT Yokies on so time will tell how they wear. My DiD has 35000 on its first set of shoes so far, I hope to see more than 50k out of them.....fingers crossed hey

Iv'e had the Geo A/T 11, but they no longer make tham so went for the A/T S, so for so good. Not as good tread patten as the old ones. Great on loose dirt, but throw up the odd stone.

The son in law out near Hilston goes through a set of tyres every 12 months on the gravel roads out there, has put a set of Goe's on and so have lasted 10 months with a 1/4 wear and no chipping as before.

I looked at them when shopping for some tyres but couldn't find much/any feedback about them as they'd just been released. Could have gotten the old ones (I preferred the look of it's tread pattern actually) but getting replacements would have been impossible if I tore one up, so I went for D694's.

Thanks for feedback guys, I have decided to go with the Geo's.
1. Great price (got them for $185 f+b)
2. Backup - if the tyre gets a puncture, splits falls apart within the first 25% of it's life = total replacement. Then a sliding scale from there eg. 25% - 32% share replacement cost, over this I pay full cost. Not bad offer.

Once again, thanks for input. I am getting them fitted this Friday and heading straight down to Robe/Bachport for a play in the sand (adelaide cup long weekend)

Will report how they go.
