Canopy for Rodeo dual cab

Submitted: Friday, Nov 16, 2001 at 00:00

Nick

Whats the best canopy for new Rodeo Dual Cab.
I have friends up in Queensland who own Rodeos with ARB canopies and they have problems with dust getting inside.
Is flexiglass any better??

Hi Nick,
I had a Rodeo Dual Cab and had a Challenge Canopy fitted, Also had the same canopy fitted to a Ford Courier when I updated to it. On both vehicles the canopies were good with a small amount of dust entering however on both vehicles this was fixed by blocking the openings in the actual ute back under the turned gunwals. They actually have gaps under there near the cab. Also I would advise that you get a canopy that the side windows open either out, or slide from the front to allow ingress into the area near the cab. I have since upgraded to a Nisson Patrol and miss that rear load area.
Cheers Dodg.

CarryBoy is the best by far because it,s fiberglass and the shape fits best with the body.
