2.5" exhaust on 1HZ

Submitted: Tuesday, Apr 01, 2008 at 21:34

Andrew from Vivid Adventures

I don't know why I didn't do it sooner.

Had a straight-through 2.5" exhaust system installed today because the old muffler was seriously whistling.

Seems $600 well spent - noticeably better low-down torque, and it must be faster too because it sounds great ;-)

Simple.

If you couple that to a set of extractors you can improve the performance even more. Cheers.

You should try 3" one and you start to wonder why I have not fork extra 200 bucks on it?

Recently fitted extractors and 3" exhaust to our V8, cant understand why they are not sold new with same fitted, the difference in performance is very noticeable. Fuel economy has improved also.

Simple - because it is more expensive. Sure it is peanuts in their scale but they count each cent - have a look what kind of cr@p they fit as speakers!
