try on off cut piece first - if replacing whole screen cut inside the edge leaving around 2 - 3 cm. get new piece that overlaps opening. use a solder iron to fuse them together with a piece of metal on other side of screen to give you something to push against that conducts heat thru screen. dont hold on too long. same for small tear. cut piece larger than opening and fuse together. trim off when finished. try on scrap first to ensure you do it right. good luck...

We bought an old Jayco years ago which had a few cuts in the flywire which had been sewn up with a needle and thread.

It was hard to see the repair until we'd had the camper for a while.

I don't mind my missus having the last word, I just wish she'd get to it.

The side screens come off fairly easily, at least on my golf camper. They are just stapled at the top and a rope rail type connection at the bottom. Then take them to a canvas repairer to have new screens fitted. Shouldn't cost too much depends on how you want the finished job to look. Cheers Eric.

Most caravan spares stores (Camec etc.) carry replacement screens to fit all standard windows.

I used clear silicon to glue a patch of screen over the cuts. Simple, effective and not too ugly.
