Have you tried moving the vehicle with someone near it to try and isolate what area it is coming from.
Process of elimination if you can get some idea of the area the noise is coming from.
Maybe it's the Birfield joint.

Dunno how similar your setup is to the Troopy?? But I get a bit of a 'graunch' (or creak or whatever) now and again..
Narrowed it down to.. (not in techo terms)..
There's a rod from the steering box across to the left wheel- and another rod from the left wheel back across to the right wheel..
Anyhow, where these two rods are close on the left side, they are very close together. Under some conditions, one of them rotates a degree or two and rubs against the other one or the tie rod end- at the left side.
Just my threepence worth !!

Hi, most noises when on full lock and going over bumps etc is the steering stops , on the Paj they are like a bowl and the stop is a rounded peg and as the suspension goes up and down they grunch? in each other , I keep the bowl well greased and dont get any noise,

Most likely it is your front springs , with th leaves moving within themselves . Try resting your hand on them with someone turning lock to lock , you should be able to feel it :)

I have a 60 series & when it rains & the springs get wet I get the same thing. Mine goes away when the springs dry out. Has it been raining down your way ? From what Iv'e been told the rubber bushes are better than nolathane.

Thanks all for your replies.
Seems it is the springs moving around.Even tried bashing the retainer clip things around the springs with a gympie in the hope it may restrict their movement,to no avail.
Oh well,such is life.May have to get some new ones if it bleep s me anymore.
