Thanks everyone for their
feedback. I have not responded until now as we have been away in our van for the Labor Day long weekend here in
Brisbane.
I thought that the one red light warning was to do with a low
power alert but thought that I would seek the view of others.
Over the weekend I noticed that the problem only raised it's head when after a few hours on the 2nd battery in the Patrol that it would start up. I would have tested the battery but my multi meter decided to give up the ghost just when it was going to be useful.
I will also check out the internal fuse to see if that might be the problem. My CF50 is one of the first to come on the market and has preformed really well over the past six years.
Again thanks for your invaluable assistance.
Cheers, Patrick
