Hi people,

It has finally happened the missus is putting the pressure on for a wagon, however I am going to do anything to beek the ute.

I am after some advice on modding the ute so I may carry offspring!

I should imagine I would have to purchase the workmate seat and fit a restraint - thoughts?? anyone else done it?

Thanks in advance for your help - please help me save the ute - its less than 12 months old!!

Nah...

Baby Capsules are huge, in the rear facing position I doubt that you would even be able to use the gear stick.

Yeh those baby seats are pretty big. They only just fit in the back seat of a wagon with the front seats forward slightly.

Would it be an option to get the body of a troopy and convert it to a dual cab and put that on? Or even extend the current cab to make it into an extra cab and fit the baby seat sideways? Not sure how you would go with warranty issues though.

With all of the fussing around it may be just as easy to sell the ute and buy a s/hand 100 series and grumble to the missus why she didn't make her feelings clear on a wagon 12 months ago.
