Hi all

Does anyone know of an agent in Perth who sell Southern Cross tents? Been looking at the SC Ultimate 10 and a Black Wolf Turbo 300 and would like to see the SC set up.

Cheers

Gidday Tim,
Michelle Sacks were for a short period of time agents in Perth, but not anymore. The SC website has no Perth dealer although I am sure there is an independent camping store on Erindale Road in Balcatta that handles them.
I own the 13ft x 10 foot extended version and although heavy(good canvas and very well made) I can put it up in about 2-3 minutes. Plenty of room and am able to stand up in. If you buy one get the side pole kit, this removes the centre pole.
you are more than welcome to see mine setup if you have problems.

Sludgie.

The store at Balcatta is Go Camping and they handle the Freedom range of tents.
Cargills in Burswood Rd Vic Park were the agents for Southern Cross and I presume still are. (sorry don't have their number).

Cheers Sludgie, may have to take you up on the offer.

Hi Mark, Cargills closed down last year.

Have sent an email to SC to see if someone else is no an agent in the West.

Tim,
I've got the Ultimate 10 and am very happy with it. Have two other tents as well but virtually don't use them now. The Ultimate is great to put up: 2-3 minutes and is very waterproof and windproof. It probably needs an awning (or small tarp) to protect the entrance in wet weather as the sloping wall allows rain to fall on the first 45 cm of floor. Great construction and quality though. It should last me many years.
