I have a theory.
The availability of increased power is directly proportionate to wanting to use that power. In other word, it's there so you will use it.
If you were to continue to travel up that hill at 60kph, your right foot would not be pushing on the pedal nearly as hard as before the conversion. Therefore, you would see much better economy.
It would be interesting to test that theory but most conversion owners are to busy enjoying the extra power.
