We are just about to purchase a 06 Coromal 541 Excel. Can anyone give us good and any bad reports about these vans. How do they tow and how about fuel consumption. We have 2003 Prado to pull it.
If you have any advice about these vans we would love to hear it.

Best to do a thread search and look into archives...type in coromal and read with interest.....Prado towing capacity 2500kg, not sure what the towball weight is....BUT you will have to have a properly rated hitch fitted to your truck...should be a specification plate on your hitch somewhere probably covered with paint...will have these weights on there......read and obey.

We sold our Coromal 526 Excel pop top recently. In our case:
the good
-basically trouble free run from new
-got more than we paid (ignoring the fact it costs 60% more for the same now, 8 years later)
-good storage (if inaccessible)
-attractive neat van
the bad
-creaky floors (3 coromal's in family, all the same), pathetic floor construction, horrible welding of frame
-island bed construction amongst worst (ours was very distorted after a few years)
-distorted chassis from new though structurally sound
-flimsy roof - never had too much confidence in it (but no prob's)
