Napier Sportz Tents vs Blackwolf/Oztent

Yes yet another tent thread involving Oztent and Blackwolf comparisons! :-)

Here's my situation. Own a tiny Mitsubishi Colt (think Honda Jazz size). I can't buy a towbar for it (its not legal) so mini-camper trailers or tear drop vans are out. I'm getting Rhino racks and a Thule pod for storage.

Like most others who look at the tent option I cast my eye towards the Blackwolf Turbo and Oztent option. I'm aware of the pros and cons of both and used to own a Turbo 240. The big thing for me about Oztents is the lack of headroom when getting dressed and their overall lack of space (I like to move around and 'live' in my tent, not just sleep in it.) Against the Turbo, I find it very hard to pack up and bulky.

So I cast my eye asunder and came across this:

Idea is tents for hatchbacks/4WDs that connect with a sock to the back of your vehicle, thus allowing easier access in all weather conditions and more uses for the rear of your car.

The pricing, shipped, still works out to be cheaper than the Blackwolfs or Oztents.

Anyone ever tried these before? I'm looking at this one for my Colt:

PS Ive seen both hatchback and larger 4WD versions of these tents at Rays/Boots Outdoors very cheap.

Sure they aren't canvas but they appear sturdy and have excellent flies. Most independent reviews Ive read say they perform well and are resilient.

No I'm not a rep of the company just hoping for feedback :-)

I have had at least 10-12 tents over 40 years of camping. Currently use an Oztent and it's bloody marvellous for quick and easy erection and pack up...It does have the height draw back mentioned (although I'm 6'2" and it's not too bad) and the need to put it on a roof rack due to its length however I never want to go back to the Taj mahal style where you waste half your drinking and fishing time putting the bloody thing up (and down). We use it on trips where we are on the go a lot and if camping for a long time tend to hire cabins at the van park.
The tent in the link however seems, by the picture at least, to lack the advantage of ease of erection...looks like a divorce tent to me if you had to put it up every night?
