Most a/c compressors are lubricated by the freon gas in the a/c system. by running one as a tyre compressor you risk siezing it unless you fit an inline lubrication and oil recycling system. Basically this injects lubricant into the air intake, and then filters it out of the air outlet before it reaches your
tyres. It can be set up to recycle the oil, so you don't use too much, but unless you're running air tools or pumping up your
tyres a hell of a lot, you shouldn't use much oil anyway. Cheers, Alex.
