Thinking of putting a boat on top of the 4WD for your travels so you can do some fishing on your next trip? View Full Article...
Hi Guys;
I am looking at getting a boat loader for my hard floor camper trailer. After getting ridiculous quotes from manufacturers of these types of boat loaders, I decided I would have a crack at building my own. I was just wondering if anyone out there has made their own before and, if so, I would appreciate some pictures and ideas?
Thanks a lot guys.

Hi Andy,
What camper do you have ?
I have the Kimberley Kamper loader and it is not the most user friendly Though well made. The Aussie swag and Trakshack loaders would be easier to make and in my opinion easier to unload and load. Just my opinion .

The Kimberley kamper loader was$1200 from memory. Did that price include collapsible trailer as well ?
Even if you got someone to make it for you it would not come close to that price. Check out the different types, the ones that put the boat flat on the ground would be the easiest to use (IMHO).
