You'll need about 8.5 litres of oil, a Half inch socket extension to fit the filter housing and a socket to fit the drain plug
A oil drain container of at least 10 litres.
Make sure you warm up the engine first
Can't remember the size of the oil drain plug but you'll need a bit of clearance to get under the truck. A couple of solid ramps under the front wheels was all I used.
You open up the OIl filter housing about a turn and a half and there is a oil drain guide that "Hopefully"directs the oil from the filter down into the drain pan before you remove the housing altogether and replace the cartridge. Can't remember the torque settings for the filter housing or the drain plug.

tools - 1 shifter and 1 bucket 1 funnel no ramps etc
oil- 10l. Oil comes in 10 litre containers so its simple drrain the oil, refill then get the used oil and chuck it back in the container
the most common funel at supercrap screws straight into the oil filler neck so theres no holding funnels and pouring
oil filter - easily rechable and tightens/untightens by hand

I know, I hear you never have to change the oil in the new V8 Yota Diesel, It uses that much oil they call it a continual loss system, like a two stroke!
