Hello,
Does anyone have any info or suggest where I may find out the latest in regard to the takeover by CALM.
We were up there in August and intend going back next year.
At a recent outing we were advised of a good spot to
camp therefore interested in what has happened and wether the rules have changed?
Cheers

Hi Corio,
I called
Ningaloo station a couple of weeks ago and asked about things. In light of the recent change of government in WA I suspected (and had confirmed) that the heat is off (mostly). although they were very hesitant to confirm outright, they certainly gave me the impression that things will be fine for some time. They confirmed that we'd be able to come/book for next year at the very least. They wanted to say/publicise more but are waiting some final "in writing" confirmation and until then are probalby too scare to rock the boat for fear of backfiring? I dont know, all I know is that I will support them in any way I can. I can't wait to get back there for another holiday with my family. Hope that helps!
