I have 3l patrol, looking at fitting either 265/75/16 all terrain or mud terrain procomp tyres

Dealer says they both are quiet but the muds look like they would have to be loud on bitumen, anyone tried these, any feedback appreciated thankyou.

All muds are loud on Tar.. Just the amount varys, and when they start wearing they get worse.

What do you intend to do with the vehicle?? Helps to see what would suit you better.

Also look at Coopers ST and MTRs

Allyn, go to www.procomp.com.au for more info,by the way i decided today to buy goodyear mtr. i thought it might be easier to replace goodyears than procomp away from major centres, dealer assured me both are excellent tyres, time will tell.

btw do you live in kimberly/pilbarra ??? if so whats it like,i am on east coast,500 metres from the sea.

Beautiful this time of year and hot for a month either side of winter and then bloody intolerable for the rest of the year.
MTR's are the bomb but have risen in price dramatically from when I first bought them (now $345 apiece) so have them in the shed at present until I'm going somewhere.Next Trek - Callawa Rd
