Hi All, Just got back into Caravaning after an absence of 10 odd years. Great to see this forum is still alive and well - and my same login works!

Any way, just picked up an 2001 Galaxy 16'6 van. It has an electrolux 3 way fridge (90 litre I think)

Anyone point me in the right direction for an owners manual. Cant see any model number on the front (or on the back). Seem to get it working ok - just be nice to no teh details about leveling etc etc.

any help appreciated.

For leveling you can get a round spirit bubble from most van places and just place it in the bottom of the fridge to see if all is level .
As for a owners manual the ones supplied are next to useless and I do not know where you would get one.
Operation is simple ,
Turn it on when on 240v and set the thermostat switch at say 3 then see what the interior cabinet is at after 24hrs with the door fully closed then adjust switch up or down as required. This then should work for both Gas and 240v but not 12v as it is not connected to the thermostat as a rule.
Be aware that on 12v the fridge will use anything up to 12amp hr so it is advisable to run on 12v only when power can be sourced from a car that has the engine running. Usually these fridge's run better on gas than anything else.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Cheers Dodg.

Ian, that would be great if you could email it to me at griffys@tpg.com.au

Managed to get it running on 240 and Gas and after making up a flu and deflector - I think its good for service.

Iif the manual has a wiring guide even better as im yet to sort out teh 12 volt side which hasnt been wired up (corredtly!)

Is quality ok? Can probably do better if needed.
