If you also want to look at Garmin models, the same procedure will work.
I have a very very basic Magellan 310 which I use to tell me where I am - no moving maps on this model, but when coupled up to my laptop, and using Oziexplore software and the Natmap map series (both available for purchase from this site) I can have moving map.
I don't use it as a street
directory, just when I am out in the "boondocks".
If you get a Magellan, there is a Yahoo User Group that is very good, with lots of helpful people similar to those on this
forum.
I am sure Garmin has the same.
