Re Turbo TD 42

Submitted: Monday, Sep 01, 2003 at 22:16

Ian

Thanks to those who replyed to my query re turboing TD 42. Could I get some feedback on what turbo make to install. The radiator in my vehicle is a 3 core(I think standard is 2) so I am hoping that will help some cooling problems.

www.dencodiesel.com is what I have. Happy with it, but havent driven others with turbo so cant compare.

Again, look at superchargers, for one you get power from Zero, no lag, and unlike a turbo, if it DOES die, supercharger you take the belt off and keep driving, turbo, your rooted!

Safari with intercooler is the go, a lot cheaper than supercharger and takes up less room.

Hi,
Ive fitted many Dynamic kits for west end diesel and now wouldnt use anything else (cause i get a massive discount) but looking at other systems such as turbo glide, the dynamic kits are far more advanced, using water cooled mitsubishi turbo cartriages, and using large intake and compression pipes.

Hey Truckster,
Last kit i bought for a mate was $2200 for a 1hz, but the 1st kit i got was free due to some dodgy deals!!
I buy them through west end now, as he gets a better trade discount for buying heaps.
