Both are excellent "compromises" (really Jim-BOR?). I enjoy the Ultimate because it is the best of both camper trailer/caravan worlds. Indoor lounge and
cooking or choose to do it all out side, I have added an external bbq, plus it has lots of storage. I chose not to go for Tvan because you don't have the option to choose out of the
weather accomodation, very quick for an overnight stop though. But it is pretty limited to a climb into bed/
cook outside situation.
Think about how you spend time around the camp, cooking/eating/dishes time and whether or not you camp in inclement
weather. That should give you a direction.
All the power, water, dust sealing issues are pretty much the same. The quality on both is terrific.
Suspension systems are proven tough and reliable.
Both are good investments, 2nd hand ones of each are still holding their value really well.
The option to do it all indoors comfortably swayed me to the Ulti.
Enjoy
