Yeah right, a 100 metre walk to get to the end of the track.

Hardly a closed track, given the 1 or 2km you drive along to get to the Lost City from Bungleboori camp ground.

Hi KiwiAngler,
Wish I could....but the missus is too preggers for such a trip at the mo, I've been out there several times without her and enjoyed it, a few good side tracks to explore too, provided they aren't closed as well. Not sure what the book says, but make sure you check out the glow worm tunnels while you're there....
Have a good weekend..

Ay Kiwi,

When you come out on the Newnes Rd near Blackfellows Hand cave, there is another track almost opposite (within a coupla hundred yards) that takes you up through Gardens of Stone NP. Nice drive with some great views up the Wolgan valley towards Newnes. Eventually come out at Ben Bullen. Very picturesque. 'bout an hour and a bit drive up.

Glen Davis is a nice place to visit as well, 'nother shale oil mining town like Newnes.

Classic!

Hope you recover soon. I hear it's a real bugger of a bug. There are folk at work that still can't shake the cough more than 2 months after getting "well".

I'm taking a couple of mates (camping greenhorns) and their lads for an overnighter on 20/21 Sept and it will probably be Yengo, Wattagans or Newnes. Let me know if you're better and are interested.Smile, you're on ExplorOz
