the suspention on our sus needs repalcing is it a good idea to raise the car 2" or keep it standard

Have a look at Australian 4WD Monthly magazine for Feb. They have fair bit about Suzukis.
2 issues back there was Sierra with 2.4 diesel Hilux engine (ahhh posibilities).

Just my thoughts on the suspension raise - if you do regular off roading and find that attack, departure and ramp over angles on the standard truck are inadequate then do the lift. However, if you don't find them a problem now then the lift is probably not required and will only make the Suzi less stable when on road.
