Hi all.

Does anyone know of a service that will allow us to pick up a sat phone in Alice Springs and post it back around Adelaide. Would be hiring the phone for about 10 days. Would also prefer to be able to use our own sim card.

Try Central Comms in Alice Springs, cnr Railway Terrace and Wills Terrace. They do Satphone hire, are pretty reliable but I do not know about the return from Adelaide.

Thanks for the info. Received a reply from them and they do not have any system in place for returning the phone from Adelaide.

aussiedingo only hire Pivotel phones (using the Globalstar satellites) - hence the cheaper daily rate. if you want a Telstra/Iridium phone it'll cost you a bit more from landwide or someone similar.

Thanks. Have spoken to aussiedingo and they are sending info. Their phones do use the Globalstar satellites but would probably be ok for our use.
