My 3.0 now has one! I filtched a 4.2 hand controller from a wreck. I made up a cable to take the input to the hand controller down the throttle actuator mounted on the floor, wrapping it around the wire bail, the same as the existing throttle does.
This works like a treat and gives me revs up to 1500 RPM. I use mine in the freezing
Canberra mornings to heat up the car/transmission, by starting the truck, selecting N on the t-case and putting the car into 3rd.
On the turbo-timer the truck will run for 10 minutes and then re-imobilise. Nice!
