Jimbo

I would like to here from anyonewho has a 4.8 Patrol. Auto or manual, how is it off/on road, fuel consumption, is your's on gas, how hard are the rear seats to remove, how does it tow, any bloody thing. Have you had any problems? If so what was the dealer support like? Any useful dialogue would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Jim.

Jim... if you are referring to the "dickie" seats in the back they come out easy. There is a rounded plastic cover over the two mounting bolts where they are hinged to the floor. Slide the cover off & presto remove the two bolts & there gone.... Took mine out 2 years ago & never replaced them. Had a 99 4.5 & now have a 2002 3.0L Turbo, they are much more economical to run, the 4.5 wouldn't drive past a bloody service station without wanting to call in......
