Bart, You had me going there for a while. I thought thats the battery for me. I tracked down the dealer on the Gold Coast and he quoted me $470 for a battery for my 60 Series. He then told me I would have to spend another $1,000 to $1,200 modifying my alternator and regulator to maintain the warranty. The guy said quiet confidently that he could fix me up for under $2,000 probably. I've done

Gibb River Road,
Gunbarrel Highway, Simpson Dessert etc with "Overlanders" at $130 ea with no problems. I can buy 15 of them for $2,000. Anyway, thanks for the information. Mal.

Sydney who import Lifelines, and by the way when it really comes to the fair dinkum department you get what you pay for. Maybe ya mate on the goldcoast should ring em to.
