For those that are interested I managed to get my sons MY65T Navman unlocked to run Miopocket V.68
It wasn't as straight forward as my MY55T.

After following the instruction etc, Miopocket would load and then fail on the reboot showing a fatal error message.

Two days of research showed nothing but MY75T advice, so following that and trial 'n error, I finally got the MY65T working.

For the MY65T:
Download and install Miopocket on microSD card as per Miopocket instructions.
It then is gets a bit (only a bit) technical.

Open file:

SDcard/MioAutoRun/Scripts/Initialize.mscr

When the file is open, type in a # and the start of lines 36, 37 & 38.
should look like:

# CallScript("Unlock.mscr")
# Exit
#Else

Then save and exit.

I assume it will work on other MY65T Navmans

Cheers
Shawn

Hi

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the benefit of installing the mio software on a navman. I have just bought a MY60 and you have me intrigued.

Thanks Kc

kcandco,
With miopocket installed it opens the device up to run a lot of different programs, the main one being Oziexplorer.

G'Day Guys,
It took a while to get my head around the instructions for the MY75T but after reading and looking at them for a couple of days it was sort of straight forward.
The location where I found the info is at GPS Passion just follow the links to how that fellow solved the problem to his MY75T problem.
Have fun
Cheers

Thanks for the reply but I think this is a little over my head. They seem to be talking about stuff I don't understand. I can follow intructions but once you get into the stuff they are talking about I'm sure to stuff up the unit.

It's a shame because I'd love to run Oziexplorer on the MY75 so I can leave the laptop at home

If you are able to explain this in simple language what they are talking about that would be great. Big ask I know but you don't get if you dont ask.
