Mike, Buy the Australian 4wd monthly Feb edition. It has a comprehensive comparo of these vehicles. I believe they are really line ball, although I favout the Toyota. Price wise the Nissan is cheaper, but the Toyota seems to have better resale value. Only one tip, go for deisel unless you love buying fuel! Happy trails, Mike.

Mike,

I have a GU Patrol 3.0lt Turbo Diesel. It has excellent fuel economy and I have never been happier with a vehicle I have owned. Would thoroughly recommend.
