Do you have to take the vehicle there, park elsewhere and get the rail. Otherwise park at the fish markets, or down at Pyrmont and walk a bit.

Most of the ones I have used around Darling Harbour are 1.9- 2.0m.
Mate has a vehicle with a bigger lift and uses the one at Star City. Might be worth phoning them and asking. Other option may be to park outside of the city, say the Airport Longterm Carpark, catch the free bus to the airport and then use the train from the airport to the city.

Pretty sure the one at Star City is 2.1 as I can just get in there (but have scraped the boom gate) with my 31" tyres and roof rack which just fits through my garage which is also 2.1

Have a look here http://www.wilsonparking.com.au/dir081/wilsonweb.nsf/pages/pyrmont.htm

In most car parks the entry is much higher than upper levels. If you ring the attendant or speak to him when you arrive they usually have reserved spots where they will give you the nod and wink to park. I have a permanent spot in a Wilson in Goulburn Street CBD and have parked some varied vehicles in there at times. Bikes, buses, vehicles with trailers etc. Where are you coming from?TD42

Thre is an "open air" carpark just opposite the Star City Casino that I have used ... I am unsure if it is open 24/7, but if it is "the sky's the limit".

Actually would be great if someone could setup a file or location that listed the clearances for carparks around Australia as it is an absolute pain not knowing whether you are going to find parking when you reach your destination. I know that most of Parramatta Westfield for example is 1.9 but one section is 2.4

Hi Simon,

There is a carpark that was an old warehouse on the corner of Allen St and Harris St at Ultimo, just north of the western distributor. Entry is via Allen St. It's the same building that houses the Motor Museum.

Clearances here are high, but I don't recall exactly how much.

There is access via overhead footbridges to the convention centre at Darling Harbour from this carpark.

Secure Parking (NSW) - 135 King Street, Sydney Nsw 2000
(straight across from the MLC Centre) has 3.48m. Not cheap but See:

Also:

the Westin Hotel in Pitt St is 2.1m (just south of Martin Place).

the Opera House is 2.2m (in from Macquarie St) - better priced than the above.

Cheers,
Stuart
