Upgrade 80 Diesel to Turbo

Submitted: Tuesday, Dec 02, 2003 at 00:00

I am considering upgrading my 1993 80 with a Turbo before I journey into the unknown.
Are there any particular issues with doing this upgrade and if so what should I be looking fo.
As I am based in Perth which supplier would be the preferred one if there is more than one?

Trev AXT turbos in Victoria seem to be popular.Im sure they would have a preferred installer over this way.I think the unit is about $2500.
A lot of installers want an engine to be new or near new before they go ahead otherwise there are warranty issues.
Do a search for their site under AXT turochargers.
