Hilux aux battery

Can anyone advise me on the largest capacity aux batt I can fit to a Hilux 3 litre Turbo Diesel without upgrading alternator etc. Physical size is not an issue. Thanks in advance

Graham,as far as my auto electrician is concerned, size (of battery) doesn't matter.Put as big a battery as you like in. I've got two large auxillary batteries in my HJ 60 and it works OK with no modification to the alternator. Mal.
