This is a fairly straightforward piece of road that I travelled over a couple of years ago, around July... I have no memories of it being in any way a bother but suggest a quick phone call to the roadhouse nearer the time will confirm road conditions.. They are doing a lot of work around there as a new mine has been opened up and the roads are being upgraded

We were up there in October last year, roads were not too bad although there was a rough stretch of a couple of k's. Saw conventional vehicles travelling the road with campers and vans. I would say conventional vehicle would be ok with care. Have a good trip
