Rancho RS9000 shocks

Has anyone had any experience with Rancho RS(unfortunate designation) 9000 shocks with the in cab control system? I have a crook lower back and thought that I might fit these to my Jackaroo for a trip to Cape York in June. Also thought perhaps a suspension seat might help. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Steven P. "may the track ahead always be freshly graded"

he was very impressed with the system !, i am sure i could contact him and let you know more details ! I also have a stratos
suspension seat fitted and they are great !....I am tall and they make a big diference with back trouble ! let me know if you would

I've got the Rancho RS9000 shocks. The way they have valved them is just unbelievable, they are a seriously comfortable shock that seem to soften over the large bumps! They really are worth the money. They are renowned for being tough as nails but I think I broke one yesterday getting gnarly with it. I have no experience with the in cab control system, but have heard that they can give problems with air leaks. I must admit though, I found a setting that worked for me and have not changed it since (loaded or unloaded).

No worries Steve. I can't say I've had them on extensive corrogations, and so can't comment on fade in these situations, but they seem to be quite good in this respect. In fact I haven't had them fade at all. On Saturday I had a seriously loaded vehicle with heavy tandem axle trailer on the back in the bush from 9am - 5pm with no signs of fade, then from 5.30 - 10.15pm running around on some closed trails sans trailer and again no sign of fade. I don't think the conditions here would have been as arduous as the corrogations I hear about in Cape York though.
