Description of Roaring Meg Falls
Roaring Meg Falls is located at the head of the Bloomfield River, south of
Cooktown. The spectacular falls can be accessed through the
CREB track (Cairns Regional Electricity Board), which is the inland route only by four wheel drive. You will need a permit from the
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS).

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) by phoning: (07) 409 11844. This is the only area on the
CREB track where
camping is allowed.
