Description of Mandorah
Great spot for a day trip from
Darwin. You can either drive the 110kms from
Darwin or take the ferry from Cullen Point Marina, which takes about 15 minutes and costs about $23 per adult, return. The jetty is a good spot for a fish on the right tide, and the highlight is the Mandorah Pub, which has great meals and a fantastic view across the blue waters to
Darwin. You can even moor your boat on the beach and wander up to the pub for a
cold beer, food and even listen to the band on a Sunday afternoon.
